Our natural tendency is often to "learn as you go" and hope everything turns out fine. However, Proverbs 29:18 offers deep wisdom: "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." The Message version puts it beautifully: "If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed."

Reflecting on my own experience, I was just fifteen when I stepped into the world of dating, completely unprepared for what lay ahead. This lack of preparation set me on a journey of understanding and planning, which ultimately guided me through the complexities of relationships unharmed.

 Discovering who you are and understanding your calling is a lifelong journey. We often let others define our worth by what we achieve, relentlessly chasing accomplishments only to find they are fleeting illusions. Yet, we're not called to any specific task or place; we are called to Jesus, who is our true destination. 

You are a "human being," not "human doing," but it's easy to blur the lines unless you spend time with the Father. In moments of quiet and stillness, He invites you to embrace how He has made you and the plans He laid for you from the beginning of time.

As Ephesians 1:4 (NLT) beautifully reminds us, "For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight."

Recognizing that you live in a fallen world is the first step toward understanding that your soul will inevitably need healing—it's not a question of if, but when. Whether you suffer from the poor choices of others or your own mistakes, everyone faces moments of brokenness.

Ecclesiastes 3:3 reminds us there's a time for everything, "a time to heal, a time to tear down, and a time to build up" (NLT). Acknowledging and addressing your hurts is essential for healing. Your journey toward wholeness paves the way to genuine freedom, and Jesus's work on the cross grants us the grace for healing, forgiveness, and liberation.

Taking care of your soul is a profound declaration of your worth. Embrace your healing process and walk boldly into the freedom that awaits you.
